The Seal in question in the messages of July 3,1999, July 16,1999, and July 16 2000 is 'the Seal of the Living God' referred to in chapters 7 and 14 of the Book of Revelation. This Seal, as is evident from the context of the Book of Revelation (chapter 13, specially verses 16-18) as well as from the message of July 3, 1999 to Christina, is given for the time of the reign of the beast- the time of antiChrist ; the time of purification. Those who have received it will not 'rush for the mark of the beast' :they will be able to withstand the temptation of the beast. This Seal(ing) is a safeguard, then, at the time of ultimate testing.
It is a mistake for anyone to imagine that he/she does not need the Seal because they think they have already received it through Baptism. It is clear from the Scriptures that Almighty God Seals for different purposes at different moments in salvation history . For example, He seals the book of His Plans (Revelation, chapter 5 verse 1 - chapter 8, verse 1) and no-one deciphers His secret except the Lamb who brings His designs about. Then in a different way Jesus says that He is marked with the Seal of His Father (St. John's Gospel; chapter 6, verse 27). This particular Sealing not only empowers the Son of Man to accomplish the Father's work on earth (See John chapter 5, verses 32 and 36) but it consecrates Him as His Son (See John chapter 10, verse 36). St. Paul teaches that the Christian participates in this consecration when God marks him/her with His Seal by giving him/her the Spirit (See 2 Corinthians, chapter 1, verse 22; Ephesians chapter 1, verse 13) but this is clearly a different matter than what is in question in the Book of Revelation. There are different and distinct modalities for the Seal of God. For example, Jesus Himself explains that the anointing with the Holy Spirit which took place at His baptism was a prophetic unction to announce the message of the Good News (See Luke chapter 4, verse 18).
When Sealed with the gift of God's Spirit through the sacrament of our baptism, we Christians are anointed to share in the same prophetic, priestly and kingly role of Christ. Such a sealing, however, for such a purpose must not be confused with, or substituted for, a distinctly different and subsequent Sealing, although from the same Godhead.
Let me explain it as follows by means of an analogy with the sacramental life of the Church. The Church has always taught that the sacrament of baptism confers a Seal , likewise confirmation and holy orders. The Holy Spirit is given in each sacrament for a distinct purpose. Yet no-one would dream of saying, 'Because I have received the seal of baptism, I do not need to obtain the Seal of confirmation' ! Nor would anyone who wished to be ordained consider saying, 'I do not need to be Sealed again in ordination since i have already been Sealed in baptism.'
The same Seal is never repeated but we can receive a different Seal for a new and different purpose as God provides. The gift of the Seal of the Living God has its own specific purpose - an awesome purpose in God's eternal plan - and should be recognised in its own right, not confused with the Seal of baptism.
2, A comment on the words of Our Lady in the message of July 16, 2000 viz.... 'Those of you who will not respond, when you come before Me in prayer and desire help, I will turn from you because so many of you have offended Me so often...'
Unnecessary confusion appears to be caused in the minds of some people as a result of taking the latest message of Our Lady out of context. It goes without saying that Our Blessed Lady is by definition full of compassion and mercy for Her children. Anyone who has taken the trouble to read Her entire message to us through Christina will have no doubt about this. They will recall how She even 'gives over Her Maternal Heart for bloodshed' for Her children; how She weeps tears of blood for our conversion; how She 'places Her Heart with that of Her Divine Son before the Father for those (of us) who are deaf and blind'
How much more powerfully can She reveal Her tenderness and mercy on our behalf? She has obtained countless conversions and miraculous healings for Her children at Her House of Prayer but also by means of Her matrix medal throughout the world... It is deeply painful, then, when some-one chooses to deny Our Blessed Lady the right to make a remark, as She does, in the above message to those for whom She has just obtained the Seal of the Living God and who are then invited by Her to make a little return for the enormity received. Our Lady is not here addressing humanity in general as some who misunderstand the message imply. It is very unjust to the message and to Our Blessed Mother to misrepresent it by not studying it in context.
It is hardly too much for the Mother of God to ask or expect of those for whom She has obtained the Seal of the Living God to bring to Her House their brothers and sisters so that they who are already inspired by God may also receive this gift. Such a commission is in perfect conformity with the pattern of God's working in the Gospel; those who receive the Good News are expected in their turn to become its bearers to others.
Our Lady never callously 'turns from' anyone in need as Her messages to Christina referred to above, more than amply demonstrate. That is not what is in question here. When She declares ,
'Those of you who will not respond when you come before Me in prayer and desire help will turn from you because so many of you have offended Me so often',
it is wrong to try and represent Her as uncaring for here She is not
referring to a denial of grace to those who cry out to Her in sincerity
of heart, much less a denial of salvation to any soul seeking conversion.
Rather, like Jesus in the Gospel expressing disgust for
those who were blessed with the special offer of divine protection
and who would neither 'go in themselves nor let others enter',
'Woe to you...
You did not enter yourselves and you hindered those who were entering.'
(Luke 11;52),
Our Lady is addressing those already specially blessed with the gift of the Seal and who fail to respond accordingly; those who have themselves received the ultimate gift for these treacherous times and who still remain indifferent to Her plea to assist their brothers and sisters to reach the same level of safety which they are privileged to have received and which they owe entirely to Her pleading before the merits of Her Divine Son.
Jesus ,in the parallel situation referred to here is anguished but severe in His reprimand for those who had been privileged to receive Truth themselves and who not only failed to co-operate with the gift but actually prevented people from benefiting who would otherwise have done so. It seems it is like that for those who could enter Our Lady's House but do not and even discourage those who otherwise would wish to enter... Just as Jesus confronted those who, in their self-sufficiency rejected the gifts of the kingdom - for He had already taught them that from those to whom much has been given much will be expected... (See parable of the talents, Matthew 25), so, too, Our Blessed Lady is saying nothing more than what we already know from Scripture and sound spirituality namely, that we cannot flatly repudiate God's gifts and refuse the heart-rending appeals of His Mother but then come before Him and expect Him to 'dance to our tune' because of some need we experience. We cannot expect to manipulate God for our personal needs while ignoring the fulfillment of His Will for others.
After all, there is nothing in Our Lady's words here any different than what is found in those of Jesus in St. Matthew's Gospel when He resolutely proclaims that He will turn from those who come pleading before Him having failed in their complacency to co-operate previously with His grace. Remember the parable of the ten bridesmaids?
"Afterwards the other maidens came also saying,
'Lord, Lord open to us'
But He replied, 'Truly, I say to you,
I do not know you'." (Matthew 25; 11,12)
How could Our Lady teach anything different to the content of the parables of Jesus in this respect? Jesus turns from them because they were fully able but deliberately failed to respond to Him. There are other such instances in the Gospel such as Jesus saying,
'And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges Me before men, the Son of
Man will acknowledge before the angels of God; but he who denies Me before
men will be denied before the angels of God'
(Luke 12;8,9)
'If you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive you'
(Matthew 6;15).
In other words He'll turn His back on you. That's a 'hard word ' too. Scripture always corroborates this stark truth that if we deny God, He will be forced to deny us. St. Paul writes to Timothy,
"It is a trustworthy statement; if we died with Him ,we shall also live
with Him;
If we endure, we shall also reign with Him;
If we deny Him, He will also deny us;
If we are faithless, He remains faithful; for He cannot deny Himself."
(2 Timothy 2;11-13)
We may prefer not to hear strong words of this kind but we cannot be
selective with God's Word: neither can we be selective with the messages
of God's Mother.
It is well to ponder Christina's remarks in this regard,
'People want to believe in God's
Mercy, but not God's Justice. When you reject Our Lady, you reject
Her Son. God must tell us of His Justice through Our Lady when we
reject it. If we want to remain in sin and disobey His call through Our
Lady, Our Lady is obliged through the Life and Light of Christ within
Her to turn away from sin in us in the disobedience of our human nature.
If we decide to do our own will instead of praying for God's Wisdom to
understand what Our Lady is trying to tell us, we have no place for God.'
3, On the matter of travelling to Our Lady's House as a prerequisite for receiving the Seal of the Living God.
On the matter of travelling to Our Lady's House of Prayer to receive the Seal, I have to say that this is the only place Christina is aware that the Seal is given - the sole exception being that for those entirely unable to travel there, God takes care of them wherever they are, provided they are properly disposed. Again, there is an exact precedent in Scripture for the principle of such a requirement as this. I will present it in the actual words of Judge Dan Lynch who already observed the correspondence between Our Lady's request and the Old Testament parallel. He writes,
"Our Lady has a plan and the gift of the Seal is a part of it. She's exasperated because so few are responding to it and others are angry about it. It's something like the cure of Naaman in chapter 5 of the Second Book of Kings. He had to go on pilgrimage and wash in the Jordan River in Israel for his cure. He was angry because there were plenty of rivers in his own country of Aram where he could have washed without making the pilgrimage. But that wasn't God's plan. He was angry about God's plan but he finally went to the Jordan and was healed. Many people are angry about Our Lady's plan through Christina but if they want the Seal they must follow the plan and go on pilgrimage to our Lady's House even though there are many places where they can pray right here in America. Christina's message in track with a similar one she received on last year's anniversary (July 16, 1999). On that day a public Eucharistic miracle took place in the House of Prayer by her reception from St. Michael of a Host. This was witnessed and photographed by many priests, religious and others including a medical doctor who attests it. There are many other healings and conversions at the House of Prayer that help to authenticate Christina..."
Christina remarks that going to the House of Prayer to obtain the Seal
is the small sacrifice ( i.e. small in relation to the enormity of the
gift of the Seal ) that God in His plan requires from those who are to
receive it.
4, Dealing with the comment, 'Something has gone wrong with this message'
It is a strange fulfillment of the promise of Jesus to Christina many
years ago that she would suffer to a lesser degree everything He Himself
had been forced to endure. We read in St. Matthew's Gospel ( chapter 12
) that when the Pharisees resented the wonderful healing powers at work
in Jesus they resorted to the accusation that He was casting out demons
through the power of Beelzebul! Thereupon Jesus, by way of illustration
made the very logical claim that a city divided against itself could not
stand. One is forced to observe how in this instance Christina has put
up with the very same accusation as was levelled at the Lord Himself -
someone resenting this message but accepting all previous messages given
to Christina, pathetically remarked,
'This particular message of Christina's
was interfered with by Satan....'
Well, Jesus' words are a sufficient reply. No house can stand divided.
Christina cannot be a vessel for good and at the same time for evil.
Jesus Himself declared
'By their fruits you shall know
them,' and already from the countless conversions and healings, at
work in Christina God has shown the impossibility of any explanation but
the divine for such an operation of grace. Anyone who has difficulty in
regard to the
acceptance of the message ought to follow the initial advice of Our
Blessed Mother who invited those with doubt to pray a novena ( i.e. nine
days ) of the fifteen mysteries of Her Rosary in order to receive the grace
to believe. It is all too easy instead of praying for the grace, to indulge
in musings and gossip and mislead other souls. I was rather saddened to
notice the following disparaging remark in one exchange concerning Our
Lady's gift of the Seal,
'Nobody has to go
to Ireland to get to Heaven.'
It saddened me because it is a caricature of the message. Our Lady
never at any point said it like that How easy it is to distort something
and then hold the distortion up to ridicule. Yet it is only the distortion
that is ridiculous not the true message - which is different. Those who
choose to follow only messages that are pleasing and palatable - a la carte
- ought to reflect on the Gospel itself : the Gospel attests that
'God is love ,' and at the same time it also speaks of the catastrophes
and wars which we through our sins bring upon the world. No-one can accept
the compassionate message and healings of Jesus yet edit out His warnings,
'hard words' and the desolation He predicts ( e.g. the tribulations
in chapter 24 of St. Matthew's Gospel ) by maintaining "This is not Jesus".
That is an arbitrary and subjective re-action which endeavors to repudiate
what is not palatable in the Gospel Truth. It is similar to the attitude
which would wish to accept one attribute of God, namely His Mercy but reject
another of His attributes, namely His Justice and His right to be just.
No authentic message from Our Lady can be different from the substance
of the Gospels.
Those who take it upon themselves to wrongly interpret and to discredit God's work through a messenger like Christina upheld as she is by the signs accompanying the message - should stop and think. Think in time about the implications of ill - judged remarks, superficial comments, arbitrary reaction and idle gossip. Once when a woman confessed unfounded gossip to St.John Vianney, he told her to shake open a pillow full of feathers and then try gathering them up. She could not because the wind had wafted them everywhere. 'Now' he said, 'you see what empty gossip does; it can never be brought back'.
I am afraid it is such ill - judged remarks in relation to this message which permits Satan to interfere with the plan of Our Blessed Mother rather than a suffering victim - soul like Christina to whom we owe so much before God for her surrendering to the cross that such gifts as the Seal can be received by us at this time.
One cannot but recall the words of Our Blessed Mother to Christina as
far back as 5 October 1992, 'There will be many who will try to discredit
you, many who are not of light - only darkness prevails in their hearts,,,'
5. Manner of responding to Our Blessed Lady's request to avail of the gift of the Seal.
It ought to be noticed that Our Blessed Lady's words about bringing our brothers and sisters to Her House to receive the Seal of the Living God are,
'You my children I desire to be messengers of my message to draw to this, my House all those God has already inspired...' (Message; 16 July 2000)
The phrase 'all those God has already inspired' clearly corresponds to a remark of Jesus in St.John's Gospel,
'No-one can come to Me unless the Father draws him...' (John 6;60-69)
In other words, it is a grace received, as Our Lady Herself says in the same message, only by those 'with an open heart'. No-one, therefore, can be forced to come. In fact, it only causes trouble if we take it upon ourselves to bring people there. While it is very understandable that a person would wish to get all family members, relations and friends to avail of such a precious gift as the Seal, that person should be careful to begin the process with prayer so that, before they pass on Our Lady's invitation, God may dispose the hearts to accept; that, in other words, God may 'already' have 'inspired' them. This is not our work, it is God's gift. The person who proceeds in this way will then best know if the time is right to introduce the proposition of travelling to receive the Seal. For example, in predisposing the person it would be good to speak of the miraculous healings (see this website for medically attested cures ratified by scientific experts, consultants, professors of medicine etc.), the prophetic gifts given to Christina already proven authentic through world events (see biography OUT OF THE ECSTASY & UNTO THE CROSS) as well as conversion testimonies from around the world, and the divine gifts to her of infused knowledge and knowledge of souls..In the context of these gifts which God has so graciously and mercifully provided, the gift of the Seal will be more understandable and acceptable to those to whom it is explained.
I believe some people- though well-motivated- have caused unnecessary
problems by trying to rush friends to Our Lady's House as if declaring
an ultimatum to them. Such an approach damages Our Blessed Mother's work.
Our Lady never couches Her message -however serious- as an ultimatum. She
comes to Christina as Queen of Peace. Like Her Divine Son She never attempts
to interfere with our human freedom. In fact, in the Gospel passage I quote
above (John, chapter 6) when some people chose to reject Jesus' message
about the gift of the Eucharist and called it 'intolerable language', He
allowed them to abandon Him. Everyone who believes should pray and live
the message of Our Blessed Lady. Then God can use their offering to 'inspire'
the hearts of their relatives and friends to accept the gift of the Seal.
It is always necessary to be prudent about God's gifts. Jesus carefully
advised His disciples, you will remember, in the Gospel not 'to throw your
pearls before swine for fear they trample them under foot and turn to attack
you.' ( Matthew 7, 6 )
The meaning of Jesus' remark clearly is that not everyone is open or
ready to hear and receive the gifts of divine Grace and divine Truth; if
they are 'made' to receive them they may react defensively and even aggressively,
trying to belittle and debase the gift by trampling it and then expressing
their resentment by attacking the messenger. Even with the best will in
the world, a wrongly - timed approach can provoke unnecessary trouble.
Often this trouble damages Our Lady's work and invariably adds to Christina's
suffering.
