In a letter to Christina Gallagher, Kelly Cramer of Texas in the United States, tells of the joy of prayers answered through wearing the Matrix Medal and placing a petition at Our Lady Queen of Peace House of Prayer in Achill. In her own words:

Dear Christina,

My name is Kelly Cramer and I asked you to pray for my husband and me concerning our desire to have a child. From the start of our eight year marriage, we were committed to remaining open to Jesus' plan for our life and children and practiced only the NFP (Natural Family Planning) as a method of timing children. After three years of marriage, we were ready to be a mommy and daddy. We then tried for five years to have a baby. We carried this cross with much prayer, much sadness and much confusion. We couldn't understand how Jesus could burn in our hearts such a desire for children, but at the same time seem to deny us our petition. We knew infertility technology such as invitro-fertilisation could be used in cases like ours, but we also knew that this was not approved by the Catholic Church. We therefore also knew that such methods were absolutely not an option for us. We wanted a child, but not without Jesus' blessing.

In the spring of 2003, my sister purchased a book about you and Our Lady Queen of Peace House of Prayer. It really enriched her faith and she recommended that I read it. I remember reading that you have prayed for many infertile couples and they have been healed. I had such a strong desire to contact you and I asked God to please allow me to get a personal message to you concerning our petition. I called Our Lady Queen of Peace in Ireland and was told I could let them know my petition and they would place it in the petition box...

We were so comforted to know that we were in your prayers and the Matrix Medal that I wore around my neck reminded me of Our Lady's protection and intercession. We continued to be steadfast in our prayers. We also asked our parish priest if he would give my husband and me the Sacrament of the Sick. Two weeks later, I was pregnant. My husband and I were overjoyed with the news. Little did we know that our full miracle had still not been revealed. Because of my history with infertility, I had a sonogram at six weeks of pregnancy and we were told we were not just pregnant with 'a baby', but rather I was carrying identical twins. It was as though God said "just in case you didn't know that I had a hand in this all along and that I wasn't ignoring your request, I gave you this blessing in my time and in my way and thank you for your faith."

Our beautiful identical twin girls (Courtney and Kerry) were born in February 2004. They are our daily reminders of God's miracle and love. Thank you Christina for your prayers, thank You Mother Mary for Your comfort and intercession and thank You precious Jesus for this miraculous gift of life. My husband and I especially thank You for entrusting us with these two souls. May our family be with You in heaven some day.
